Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-05-31

Beta placeholder. The text below is a structural stand-in so the navigation works. Real terms drafted by counsel will replace it before public launch. Don't rely on it for legal purposes.

1. The service

Hire Tod provides a workflow for property owners to request estimates and for providers to submit them. We facilitate the structured exchange of information; we are not the provider and do not perform or warranty the work itself.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for the activity that happens on your account. Both property owners and providers must provide accurate information during onboarding.

3. Property owner submissions

Submissions should describe real projects on properties you own or are authorized to make decisions about. Misrepresentation or test/fake submissions may result in account suspension.

4. Provider obligations

Providers agree to maintain current license and insurance information, respond to opportunities in good faith, and honor estimates submitted through the platform. Misrepresenting credentials is grounds for removal.

5. Estimates and contracts

Estimates submitted through the platform are binding offers to perform the described work. When a property owner accepts an estimate, a contract is formed between the property owner and the provider. Hire Tod is not a party to that contract.

6. Fees

Fee structure for the public release will be announced before launch. Beta participants pay nothing for use of the platform.

7. Disputes

Disputes between property owners and providers should first be raised through the platform's communication channel. We may facilitate but do not arbitrate.

8. Changes

We'll post updates to these terms here and notify active users by email when material changes happen.
